Auto-Betfair runs on the MarketFeeder Pro software engine, which was developed by Welldone Creative Software, and is registered with Betfair as an official API solution. Auto-Betfair customers benefit from all of the benefits and functionality of MarketFeeder Pro. Each day, the software connects into the Betfair exchange via your broadband connection. The software then monitors the constantly changing odds of the UK race card, and places bets for you. The software is fully automated. All you do is login to the software each morning. You are then free to do whatever you want to do each day, whilst the software works for you.
What is Betfair?
Betfair is the largest online betting company in the UK and the largest bet exchange in the world. Betfair currently has a turnover in excess of £50m/week. (Open your Betfair account and get a Free £20 bet + bonuses)
A bet exchange allows punters (gamblers) to back and lay at odds set and requested by other punters rather than by a bookmaker. Betfair uses decimal odds, which are easier to work with for trading than fractional odds. Its bookmaking model - bringing together two counterparties with opposing views - removes the need for a bookmaker's mark-up or over round and this results in odds that are on average 20% better than bookmakers.
Who are Auto-Betfair?
Auto-Betfair was formed in early 2006 in close partnership with Welldone Creative Software, and are based in London, England. Welldone are members of the official Betfair Developers Program. The Software was developed to specifically cater for those who wish to take part in on-line trading, but simply do not have the time or the experience to do so.
What exactly is Auto-Betfair doing?
Auto-Betfair fulfils three primary functions when placing bets. It monitors all horses in each race and obtains the best possible odds available. It takes into account how much money it should be in order to achieve the required amount of profit. It also takes into account the outcome of the previous race results.
What type of bets are placed?
Auto-Betfair currently focuses specifically on the UK Horse racing card. Bets are made on horses to win, or to place, depending on the odds available.

Be very wary of this software. It uses a 'Loss-Chasing' approach which means that when the selections hit a losing run your losses mount up very quickly. In my experience the vendors are unable to produce any statistics to show that the sofware produces profits in the long term. It will generate profits for a few days or weeks but, eventually, you are bound to loss your money.
There is nothing clever about the way it selects - it simply backs the lowest-priced horse in the 'place' markets unless it is priced less than 1.33 Software costs £50 a fortnight which means you have to risk £500 just to cover the cost of the subscription. That gives you daytime races only - if you want to bet on the evening card it will cost you another £30/fortnight. Auto-Betfair runs on top of the MarketFeeder Pro software - you can actually achieve exactly the same process using MarketFeeder without the need to pay a fortnightly subscription and that way you get access to all MF's functions (offset betting, dutching, user-defined triggers). Try Auto-Betfair if you must but bear in mind it is just an expensive way to lose you betting bank. |

The previous users comments must be very old indeed, as Auto-Betfair was renamed to Auto-BF around 6 months ago and costs £59.99 per month. Auto-Betfair is just the free software you get at Betfairs website.
I have to disagree that there is nothing clever about the way it selects it horses. It is true that a lot of the time the software will select a favourite, but it does this due to the WOM (weight of money being placed on the back side of the exchange, during a 5 minute period before the race starts. Because of this monitoring of the WOM, the software often selects a favourite before it actually becomes a favourite on the exchange. For example a third favourite with five minutes to go before the off, may suddenly have a dramatic increase in the WOM and turn out to be the favourite at the off. Auto-Bf would have spotted this trend and bet accordingly. Auto-BF does use the MarketFeeder Pro API engine, and if you have the time and are an advanced Excel user, and very au fait with complex trigger formulas, then you probably could achieve this without Auto-BF..but you have to remember that the whole point of Auto-BF is that it is automated.its for people that dont want to muck about adding formulas and watching markets, and sat at their PC all day..All I do with Auto-BF is login before I go to work in the mornings. Also, a lot of people dont realise that you can tweak and fine-tune the default strategy to suit each individual. Yes you can leave the software at all defaults, but you can adjust so many things in the software, it would take too long to list them. For £59.99 a month I really cant see any other betfair bot that offers what this one does. Its been trading for a year now, and some users on the forum have been using it since day one. |

This software is fantastic! What can I say...I've made profit EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last 3 weeks with Auto-BF....my total profit stands at £540 for three weeks trading, and the subscription cost me £59.99, so I'm up £480 already!
I've never come across software that is so simple to use....just load it up and leave it. Just testing out their BETA version of Auto-BF greyhound as well which looks just as good |
