Now look for a couple of outsiders we can strike off our list - now select one horse from the remainder in the price band of about 3/1 to 7/1 - this latter part is not written in stone - we really must be flexible if we are to be successful in betting.
I am very optimistic that this truly is the way to go when we look at the rollercoaster ride that is the world of horse racing betting. A simple each way strategy based upon racing journalist's analysis means the work is already done for us - yes you need an element of faith that they have provided accurate information, but at least your head's not in the form book for hours on end, only to see your horse finish a close 4th!
So do take advantage of this blog. I think I'm doing a fair job. Of course there will be fallers in this jumps season, or misjudgements through lack of discipline, but generally the selections do as I hope, and we can have each way days like Thursday with 2 winners and a place from 3 bets!.
