Another week's gone by with the Champions League and UEFA Cup mid wekk, and in running, throwing up some intereting betting opportunities, most noteably the good old accumulator lay of short prices using Betfair Multiple's facility. Yet again, Valencia failed at 1/4 on ensuring those who lay the obvious accumulators would have been very happy.

I hope, by your reading of the blog, you have been able to see my thoughts behind my selections. The ideal is for this to help you help yourself, because if the tips keep obliging, I can't keep them free forever.

I have found a nice easy strategy which the more eagle eyed amongst you will be getting to grips with. It's common sense really. Look for the smallest number of runners who pay out 3 for the place - 8runners . Now look for a couple of outsiders we can strike off our list -  now select one horse from the remainder in the price band of about 3/1 to 7/1 - this latter part is not written in stone - we really must be flexible if we are to be successful in betting.

I am very optimistic that this truly is the way to go when we look at the rollercoaster ride that is the world of horse racing betting. A simple each way strategy based upon racing journalist's analysis means the work is already done for us - yes you need an element of faith that they have provided accurate information, but at least your head's not in the form book for hours on end, only to see your horse finish a close 4th!

So do take advantage of this blog. I think I'm doing a fair job. Of course there will be fallers in this jumps season, or misjudgements through lack of discipline, but generally the selections do as I hope, and we can have each way days like Thursday with 2 winners and a place from 3 bets!.

I know a lot of so called "tipsters " out there don't maintain this level of consistency with the each way selections on the blog, and the good thing - I learn from every mistake, and as I practice more and more, my selections will become tighter and more accurate.
